2nd head gasket job

For the past 3 to 4 months, my 2003 D2 has been running flawlessly. I redid the head gaskets when one blew, fixed the three amigos, redone a few bearings, basically got it sorted.

However, it has blown a SECOND head gasket in a little over a year. We are currently in the process of fixing it, but this cannot keep happening. As a race car driver I tow a trailer (which the truck is great at) but I cannot blow another head gasket on the road.

So do I keep the old girl or do I upgrade to a D4?

Do some internet research on the stretch bolts for the heads. There's a defection to good old torque only for this application.
Diesel powered engines and parabolic leaf springs. These are a few of my favorite things.

Ditch it man. Rover knew these end of the line V8's in the D2 were going to have issues and they all are susceptible to failures. It's only a matter of time until dropped liners and cracked blocks.
