FPLRG Reboot 2018

Post by freelander02 » Wed Apr 18, 2018 12:38 am

This past Saturday we had the first meeting a long time. There was a good turnout. We got the gang back together.

While there was brief discussion, I think there was general agreement on...

Target to have an activity every month. The standing second Saturday of every month meeting is standing again. The location/host will rotate with each of us each month. Don't be shy about volunteering.

Target to have an event every quarter. The event would something more than the standing meeting. Could be a trail ride, Pgh Vintage Grand Prix or group attends MAR. Most likely the event would replace the monthly meeting. Event management will rotate throughout the club members (volunteer early) and non-members if they want. I will still coordinate and oversee activities and events. Again, don't be shy about volunteering.

Dues for membership are now $20 per year (pay Harold) to help defray mainly website costs.

This is open for discussion. Silence equals consent.

Thanks for hosting John. For those that missed the opportunity it was also the debut of John's 110 that Harold rebuilt. An awesome looking truck and great collaboration between the two. And we all had the opportunity to scratch our names in the fresh enamel. At least I did :). An excellent opportunity to welcome John and Brooke also. A fun time was had by all.

I knew it. At least you ran out of those Mary Kay stickers.

Wishful thinking on your part. I still have a lifetime supply of stickers. Maybe a full length sticker stripe on the 110 :)
