Re: scheduled events
Have you guys considered coming over our way to Southington offroad park? Bill and I were there in March. Trails from mild to wild, inexpensive, and offers camping on site. There plenty of places to get in trouble too, Ask Bill. http://www.southingtonoffroad.com/ And yes, I know I am resurrecting a ...

Re: May 2018 Picnic
I plan to be there, with my son. My dad may tag along, but hasn't said for sure. Sadly, no Rover. I will also need an address. Not sure what we will bring, but chips & snacks or a side dish. If I get really ambitious I will bring the lawn bowling set, also have giant Jenga if there is interest. Stil...

Re: May 2018 Picnic
I've marked this on my calender, and currently have the day free. With my newish job, and son a little older I've got some time to have fun. Hope to make it.

That would be the leaking heater hose.Harv wrote:I see it marked it's spot already.

The swivel balls and transfer box have marked their territory for the past couple years on the garage floor.

It's alive! It's alive!
My rover moved under its own power after 4 years of beauty sleep. The old 2.8l roared to life at the first turn of the key. I still have a lot of work to do to make it roadworthy, but it's a step in the right direction. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd202/lrnut20/651BCF02-9A86-4021-8103-52963D4...

Re: Looking for a cheap SE7 disco
Is scooter still looking to sell it? I might be in the market. I am looking at dumping my truck, and buying a Disco as a family hauler and tow vehicle. I am kinda looking for a low milage, Disco I or II. My thought is to dump my truck and big horse trailer, go down to a smaller trailer with GVW of a...

Yea, but I was hoping to ride on the front wing and snag a Rhino. Otherwise what fun would it be.jagspeed wrote:Riding in their bus allows you to watch the animals, not your gauges...

Re: Anyone near Monroeville?
Well, we both got what we wanted, and only had to go 10 miles. I found a 2009 XT Limited this weekend. She got the newer body style she wanted, and even the color she wanted. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/dd202/lrnut20/01_zps7b53892e.jpg So now there are 2 Forester XT's in the garage. Good lord...

Nevermind.
The wife wants an 09 and up. Says the newer body style is more sporty and more "her". Whatever that means.

Re: The Wilds June 14th - 16th, 2013
I just caught this, I might be able to make it. I have been collecting parts to but my Series back on the road.
I will mark it on the calender, and ask the warden for permission.

Anyone near Monroeville?
I am in the market for another Subaru Forester for the wife. Her 2 door Civic is not workign well with a carseat. I have become way too attached to my Forester XT, and I don't share well. I found a 2005 Forster XS in Monroeville I might be interested in. Before I drive the 100 miles or so. Was hopin...

1962 SIIa 88" RHD (Price Reduced)
Well, it really pains me to do this, but it is time to sell my 88. Life has caught up to me, and I don't get to use it like I used to. The truck is titled as a 1962 with a clean Ohio title. I bought this truck in 2001 and have had alot of fun with the club in it. I imported from Canada to the US. Th...

Re: ANyone interested in planning a trip to the Wilds
Holy crap, that is my truck. It's a fun place, not real challenging, but a unique experience. It may have changed since I was there 5 years or so. At the time, it was just cut trails then. That ride was sponsored by Blue Ridge LR club.
